Celebrating the Eagle as a symbol of the Auburn spirit

The 2010 football season marks the 10-year anniversary of the first flight of the Eagle at Jordan Hare Stadium. Photos with Tiger VII will be available.

Cahaba Grand Conference Center, 3660 Grandview Parkway, just off Hwy 280.  DOORS OPEN AT 5:30 P.M.  Come early to eat and shop before the main event program with our vendors who support our club.

Head football coach Gene Chizik will join Auburn fans from across the metro Birmingham area to share news, information and insight heading into his second year of Auburn Tiger football.

Other special guests include AU head baseball coach John Pawlowski and Rod Bramblett and Stan White as emcees.

The 2010 Kick-Off Party academic spotlight is the AU Harrison School of Pharmacy. Visit the college's display during the browse session of the event to learn about its exciting and innovative majors and programs. Proceeds from the event raffle will go directly to the School of Pharmacy for academic scholarships.

This family-friendly event will feature traditional elements including the Auburn cheerleaders and band. In honor of the Eagle as a symbol of Auburn. the Southeastern Raptor Center will be on hand with a display of various birds of prey used for educational purposes.

Once again, Tiger Rags will be set up to offer great Tiger merchandise.  Plan to do your preseason shopping at the Kick-Off because a portion of the sales goes to academic scholarships for Jefferson and Shelby County students who attend Auburn University.

Ala carte food will be available in the Dining Room beginning at 5:30 P.M.  Items include all-beef hot dogs, hamburgers, double hamburgers, and pulled smoked-pork barbecue sandwiches.  Entree items come with French fries and a 20 oz. fountain drink.  Prices range from $5 to $8 per meal.  Cash bars will be open in the main ballroom.

Back by popular demand is the Tiger Kids’ Zone.  Kids of all ages will enjoy hanging out with Auburn’s six-time national champion mascot, AUBIE, along with face painting, inflatable games, and other special treats.

The Freshmen Send-Off Ceremony will start the program. Join in as we recognize this year’s group of incoming Auburn freshmen from the metro Birmingham area. Help us send them off for their first year of the Auburn experience, including the award of a $500 scholarship to one lucky student in attendance.

The Kick-Off Party is the club’s largest family-friendly event and is always well attended.
