Annual General Meeting was Nov. 14 at “Burn the Bulldogs” Game-Watching Party

The Auburn vs. Georgia game-watching party was the site for the GBAC Annual General Meeting and a vote on proposed changes to the Constitution and Bylaws as well as the slate of new Board members and officers for the Club.

2010 officers are:

Amy Moore, President

Laurie Halvorson, Treasurer

Rob Crabtree, Secretary

Elon Maddox, Chairman of Membership

Linda Hallmark, Immediate Past President/Officer at Large

New Members of Board of Directors are:

Jason Bryant – one year unexpired term

Charles Hart - two year unexpired term

Cory Thomas - one year unexpired term

Brad Jones - two year unexpired term

Laura Canterbury - 4 year term

Phillip Hasha - 4 year term

Robert Moody - 4 year term

Virginia Vinson - 4 year term

Rob Weintraub - 4 year term

Taylor Agricola - Alternate

On August 11, 2009, the Board of Directors approved an amendment to the Constitution and Bylaws of the GBAC to clarify the positions and duties of the officers of the Club as well as the length of term of the officers.  Approval of the amendment as well as the slate of new Board members and officers was voted on by the membership at large at the Club’s Annual General Meeting on Nov. 14 at the “Burn the Bulldogs” game-watching party just prior to kickoff.  The document including the changes to the Constitution and Bylaws is published on the GBAC Web site.
