We Stand With You In Prayer, Virginia Tech
On the morning of Monday, April 16, 2007, the worst massacre in American history occurred on the campus of Virginia Tech University in the town of Blacksburg, VA. Thirty-Two individuals, students and teachers, fell victim to a lone gunman before he took his own life.
In response, The Auburn Wesley Foundation painted a sign and placed it on the Auburn concourse for students to sign. During the middle of the night, they drove it up to the VT. The VT Student Government Association president, placed it in the center of their drill field for all to see. It's moments like these that make me think, "It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!" - John Needham, GBAC Webmaster.
